Laurence M. Bradley, Jr., MD, FAAD

Board Certified Dermatologist

Welcome to Legacy Dermatology, founded in 2023 by Dr. Laurence Bradley, Jr., MD. As a proud native of Schaumburg, IL, Dr. Bradley provides compassionate, high-quality skin care to the Algonquin and surrounding communities. He earned his bachelor's degree in biology from NIU, graduating summa cum laude, and received his medical degree with highest honors from Howard University College of Medicine. Dr. Bradley is honored to be a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha fraternity. His residency included valuable training at the VA Medical Center and Children's National Medical Center in Washington, DC. He also enjoyed serving as a clinical assistant professor at the University of IL College of Medicine in Peoria, building connections with future medical professionals.

Dr. Bradley is proud to be an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Mohs Surgery, and the Skin of Color Society. As a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and board certified in Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery, he brings exceptional expertise to every patient he serves. Dr. Bradley has had the privilege of performing over 14,000 Mohs micrographic surgeries for patients in the Chicago-Northwest suburbs, Peoria, IL, and neighboring communities in Iowa, always striving to deliver the best possible care.

He established the practice to create an innovative, patient-centered experience. Always providing patient comfort and education about skin health at the forefront. Meet Emily

Emily Berry, PA-C

DERMATOLOGY PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Emily Berry, PA-C, is a dermatology physician assistant dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care. She is excited to care for patients in the Algonquin area and is passionate about patient education, believing that informed patients are empowered to make confident decisions about their skin health.

Emily earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. During her training, she received multiple distinctions, including the Rollie Perkins Outstanding PA Scholar Award, the Merit & Commitment to the PA Profession Award, and the Servant’s Heart Award. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University. Her clinical training spanned a wide range of specialties, with focused experience in dermatology.

Emily provides general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services. She emphasizes patient education and shared decision-making, ensuring each patient feels heard, respected, and confident in their care plan.

She is board certified by the NCCPA, licensed in the state of Illinois, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants.

Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys fostering dogs and exercising. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident skin at every stage of life.
