Meet Dr. Bradley
Laurence M. Bradley, Jr., MD, FAAD
Board Certified Dermatologist
Dr. Laurence M. Bradley, Jr. is the founder of Legacy Dermatology. He’s a proud native of Schaumburg Illinois and is excited to start his new journey providing quality skin care in Algonquin Illinois. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Northern Illinois University, and received a medical degree with the highest honors (Alpha Omega Alpha) from Howard University College of Medicine. During residency, he trained at VA Medical Center and Children’s National Medical Center in DC. He has been a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria.
He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and board certified in the subspecialty of Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery. He has performed over 3,000 Mohs micrographic surgeries in rural communities of Illinois and Peoria.
Dr. Bradley will provide general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services for the community. He developed Legacy Dermatology with the goal of providing an innovative patient centered experience and focus to educate his patients on protecting their skin. His interests include pigmentation disorders, keloids, cutaneous oncology and hair loss. He looks forward to providing you with rejuvenated cosmetic procedures like Botox®, soft tissue augmentation, chemical peels, and body contouring, so you may look and feel your best.
Dr. Bradley is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Mohs Surgery, and Skin of Color Society.
When Dr. Bradley isn’t in the office caring for patients, he enjoys spending time with his three children and wife. His hobbies include fishing, kayaking, and hiking.
Meet Emily
Emily Berry, PA-C
DERMATOLOGY PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
Emily Berry, PA-C, is a dermatology physician assistant dedicated to providing personalized, evidence-based care. She is excited to care for patients in the Algonquin area and is passionate about patient education, believing that informed patients are empowered to make confident decisions about their skin health.
Emily earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. During her training, she received multiple distinctions, including the Rollie Perkins Outstanding PA Scholar Award, the Merit & Commitment to the PA Profession Award, and the Servant’s Heart Award. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University. Her clinical training spanned a wide range of specialties, with focused experience in dermatology.
Emily provides general, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology services. She emphasizes patient education and shared decision-making, ensuring each patient feels heard, respected, and confident in their care plan.
She is board certified by the NCCPA, licensed in the state of Illinois, and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants.
Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys fostering dogs and exercising. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients and helping them achieve healthy, confident skin at every stage of life.
